I like how their expressions never change, even when smoking cigarettes and absent-mindedly throwing money.
They're not absent-mindedly throwing money, they're paying the devil to replace her, as in the lyrics of the song. That's why they throw the money each time the devil walks through.
I always loved Hall & Oates ... learned it from my mom ... but that performance was a whole new kind of awesome.
